Connect your iPod to your TV with a cable:

- To access the Settings screen scroll to the videos entry and press the select button.
- Now select the TV Out setting to On if you want always to output the video to TV or to Ask if you want the iPod to prompt you first. when you need to switch the setting when you want to play the video on the iPod’s screen Ask is more convenient but you have to deal with the iPod’s screen each time you play a video.
- Make sure your iPod is set to output the right kind of TV signal for your TV.
- To see in a wide-screen, go to wide-screen setting, choose On or Off to suit your TV. For returning to the video screen pres the Menu button.
Start playing the video
Follow these simple steps to play videos on you iPod:
- Quickly scroll to the videos entry on the main menu, then press the select button if your iPod is not showing the video screen.
- Now scroll to the appropriate category for example, sports or Movies then press the select button to access it.
- Now select the item you want to play then press the select button to access and start playing, press the Select button to display the scrub bar, and then scroll to scrub forward or backward. When you reach the point you want to go, press the Select button to hide the scrub bar again.
- You can also fast-forward through the video file by pressing the Fast Forward button, and rewind by pressing the Rewind button, but these controls are not comfortable for moving long distances.
- If you dont want playing short videos separately, create a playlist in iTunes then add the videos to it in the order you want and then synchronize your iPod, thats’s it you are done, start playing the playlist from the Video Playlists entry.
